This policy covers the Ringmast4r app (bundle com.ringmast4r.app)
on iOS and Android — curated field tools published by Ringmast4r.
Download links live on the app page. The policy is short because there is
nothing to disclose.
The two platforms ship different tool sets, so this section is split.
On Android the app carries three tools. The Datacenter Atlas and the OUI
Masterlist are datasets bundled inside the app package and work entirely offline —
nothing is downloaded, streamed or synced. CVE News is the app's one online feature: it reads
public security-news and vulnerability feeds from api.cybernewsfeed.org, a
service operated by the app's developer. Those requests fetch public content only; they carry
no account, no identifier and nothing about you or your device beyond what any HTTP request
inherently contains.
On iOS the app is an offline reference library and makes no network requests of its own at all. The reference pages and the catalogue that indexes them are compiled into the download rather than fetched, and each page is rendered in a web view with JavaScript disabled, so a page cannot run code or load anything remote. The iOS build works identically in airplane mode.

On iOS the app requests no permissions at all — and no tracking
prompt, because it does not track. On Android it declares exactly one, INTERNET,
used solely by the CVE News section to fetch the public feeds described above and to open
links you tap. There are no location, storage, camera, contacts or any other permissions on
either platform.
Nothing that identifies you. On Android the only saved value is your light-or-dark theme choice, in the app's private storage; it never leaves the device and goes when you uninstall. The iOS build saves nothing at all — which reference category you last filtered by lives in memory and is gone when the app closes.
There are no third-party SDKs, advertising networks or tracking libraries in the app. The news feed comes from the developer's own service, not a third party. News stories and references link to external websites; tapping one opens it in your browser, outside the app, where that site's own privacy policy applies.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and, given its subject matter (security research, surveillance industry documentation), is intended for adults.
If a future version ever collects data, this page will be updated first, and the App Store privacy details and the Play data-safety section will be corrected to match before that version ships.
